What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is an integrative medical practice that is based on the six priciniples. It combines the science of both natural and conventional medicine to treat the root cause of a patient’s condition.
Will insurance cover my visits?
We do not bill insurance, however, your insurance may provide a partial reimbursement and we would be happy to provide the necessary form or superbill to send them. We recommend calling your insurance company and asking if office visits with a Naturopathic Doctor are covered. Depending on your policy, insurance may cover office visits with us as an out-of-network provider.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) can both be used to pay for qualifying medical expenses, including medical appointments with your Naturopathic Doctor, lab tests, prescribed supplements, over-the-counter products, and other medically necessary prescribed services.
What are your fees?
Comprehensive initial office visits are $400 and entail 90 minutes of direct time with your doctor. Follow up office visits are $150 for 30 minutes and $300 for 60 minutes. The cost of ordered labs and imaging, and the cost of prescribed supplements and medications are separate from the cost of the visit.
Additional charges may incur for administering some treatments during your visit. This includes, but is not limited to, Intravenous ("IV") Nutrient Therapy or Intramuscular ("IM") Vitamin Injections. The cost of materials, nutrients, and vitamins for IV Nutrient Therapy and IM Vitamin Injections will be charged to the client at the time of the visit. At the patient’s request, a superbill can be provided to the client at the end of the visit.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice by telephone for cancellation or rescheduling of your appointment. Less than 24 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee amounting to 50% of your visit. No show appointments will incur the full appointment fee.
How much do essentials and advanced labs cost?
The cost of essential and advanced labs differ depending upon which are used. Please contact Dr. Greenspan for more information regarding the cost of labs.
